Bored with the hustle and bustle of city life?
Yearning for a quiet escape?
Or you just want to taste a new sensation of Indonesia?
Well guys, a tempting invitation is within your grasp…Come join us in exploring one of the last remaining natural forest on Java and one of very few areas offering a wide-range-profile, from sea-shore to mountain top tropical vegetation.
Spend your time trekking in the park, snorkeling in the clear water of Peucang Island, canoeing at Cigenter river, or just laid back and spend your night time under the starry sky of Ujung Kulon National Park.
Ujung Kulon National Park (UKNP) is located at the western-most tip of Java, Banten, Indonesia. It includes the volcanic island group of Krakatoa and other islands including Panaitan, Handeuleum and Peucang on the Sunda Strait.
Rich in wildlife and forest, noted for its charm and diversity, it is the home of the highly endangered Java Rhinoceros and bestowed with the status of World Heritage (natural) site.
The park holds well over 700 species of plant life of which at 57 are classified as rare in Java Island and perhaps the world. The 35 species of mammal include Banteng, Silvery Gibbon, Javan Lutung, Crab-eating Macaque, Leopard, Java Mouse-deer and Rusa Deer. There are also 72 species of reptiles and amphibians and 240 species of birds.
